Marjorie A Lapham

Beekmantown Mrs. Marjorie A. Lapham, 80 of the Dumont Road, Beekmantown passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Meadowbrook Health Care Facility with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 20, 1935 the daughter of Elon H. and Bertha (Despeaux) Boland. Marjorie worked for New York Telephone and Physicians Hospital as a switchboard operator. She received her Associates Degree from Clinton Community College. She was formerly a member of St. Peter's Church and most recently St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Elon and Bertha Boland, her brothers James Boland, Harry Boland, Lyle Boland, a daughter-in-law Penny Roberts and a granddaughter Jessica Roberts. She is survived by her husband Milton "Mickey" Lapham of Beekmantown, a son James Roberts of Saratoga, NY, two daughters Terry LaValley of Morrisonville, Laurel Nowacki and her husband Christopher of South Bend, Indiana, three stepchildren; Karen Celentano and her husband Paul of North Carolina and Aruba, Robert Lapham of Plattsburgh, Todd Lapham and his wife Lisa of Beekmantown, her brothers; Edward Boland of Lebanon, TN, John Francis Boland of Plattsburgh, three grandchildren; Danielle Nowacki, Cody Nowacki, Bambi James and her husband Travis, a step grandson Eric Gonyo and four great grandchildren; Natalee, Alicen, Adalynn and Asher, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the family plot at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
