Mark E Smith

Mark E. Smith, 56, of Mark Way in Peru, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 20, 1966 in Plattsburgh, the son of Richard and Patricia (Passino) Smith.
Mark was employed at the Val Haven Home in Peru for several years as a groundskeeper and enjoyed four wheeling, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Melody (Parker) Smith, his children; Ryan Smith, Patrice Muzzy, Markie-Ann Snyder, and Nathan Smith, three step children; Mathew Parker, Tyler Snider, Samantha Snider, Logan Schilling whom he was raising and considered his own, his mother Patricia Manning, his sister; Terrie-Ann Beisinger, a brother; Ramsey Smith, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father , a brother Richard "Bud" Smith and an uncle Gary Passino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a time to be announced at St. Augustine's Church in Peru. Memorial donations may be made to to the family.
