Mary Lou Baker

Mary Lou Baker, 78, of Flynn Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her daughter’s home. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on July 25, 1942, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Pritchard) Bodah. She married Donald Baker on October 31, 1959.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna Baker; her son, Donald Baker and his wife Holly; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dussault and her husband, Jason; a granddaughter, Renee Dupras; great grandsons, Derren Duke, Silas and Ezra Dussault and Cash Stewart; many nieces and nephews; and her devoted canine companion, Bear. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Baker; her infant son, Daniel; and her two best buddies in adventure, her sister Florence and her niece, Kay.
She will be remembered for her stubborn attitude which carried her though love, loss and pain; her love of dogs, her family, embroidery, and of course, Elvis Presley. Her family wishes to thank all those friends and neighbors in the Flynn Avenue Apartments who kept a close eye on her in her later years. You all helped her keep her independence until her peaceful passing. We are grateful.
