Mary L Pashow

Mary L Pashow, 85, passed away Saturday afternoon November 21, 2009 at The Highland Nursing Home, Massena, New York where she had been recuperating since late summer. She was born January 1, 1924 in Plattsburgh and on September 20, 1947 she and Francis Pashow were united in marriage at St Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Mary was predeceased by her husband Francis of sixty years who passed away June 25, 2008. Surviving children are Carol Anderson and her husband Kenneth and her granddaughter Kristin Anderson-Martinez and husband Tony; John, William, and Kevin Pashow and her grandson Erik; Kenneth and wife Dana and her grandchildren Lindsay and Taran; James and wife Anne and her grandchildren Kimberly and Scott and wife Kathryn; Richard and wife Nancy and her grandchildren Travis and Joshua, Nancy Pashow, and Patricia and husband Robert and her grandchild Caitlin, and several nieces and nephews. Her life was dedicated to her family. She had a great love of music and poetry. In her later years Mary spent numerous hours crocheting baby blankets which she donated to charity. Donations in her memory may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday November 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St Bernard's Cemetery in Lyon Mountain, New York.
