Mary Elizabeth Ryan

Mary Elizabeth Ryan, 83, of Alford Blvd., Plattsburgh passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Schuyler Falls, NY on May 25, 1934 the daughter of Elmer and Mae (Doner) Ormsby. Mary had worked at the A & P Grocery Store and was a Friendly Home Toys and Avon representative for many years. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Thomas F. "Skip" Ryan, her sisers; Dora Ormsby, Judy Nichols and Caroline "Carrie" Riley. Mary is survived by two sons Dennis Burnell and his wife Bonnie of Plattsburgh, Dean Burnell and his wife Holly of Zephyr Hills, FL, one daughter Penny McKay and her husband Greg of Henderson, NV, two sisters; Helen Durgan of Morrisonville, Loretta Painter and her husband Bob of Plattsburgh, grandchildren; Danielle Aubin of Plattsburgh, Denise Burnell Hollis and her husband Jesse of Cooperstown, NY, Deanna Burnell Russell and her husband Patrick of Queensbury, Dean Burnell and his wife Jennifer of Navarre, FL, Danny Burnell of Buford, SC, her great grandchildren; Codie Aubin and his wife Jessyka of Plattsburgh, Nicholas Aubin of West Chazy, Kristen Burnell, Cameran Burnell, and Makenzie Burnell of all Navarre, FL, Elsa and Ansel Hollis of Cooperstown, Patrick, Grace and Mary Russell of Queensbury, one great great grandchild Bentley Aubin of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Mary's wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Donations in her memory may be made to Make A Wish or the charity of ones' choice in care of Brown Funeral Home.
