Mildred J Andersen

Plattsburgh Mrs. Mildred J. Andersen, 85, of Pine Street, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born in Brooklyn on July 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Niles and Mathilda (Nelson) Tilliquist. Mildred married her husband Harry Andersen on May 5, 1952 and together raised 4 children Jeffrey, Christian, Carla and William. After her children were grown, she resumed teaching at Northern Adirondack High School until she retired. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother John, and two sisters Marjory and Dorothy. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St.in Plattsburgh with a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
