Neal A Provost Sr

Neal A. Provost, Sr., 57, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 24, 1958 the son of Edmund Willard and Edna (Duquette) Provost. Neal worked as a corrections officer for over 13 years. He often spent time at Airborne Speedway or traveling throughout the summer to other racetracks. If he wasn't at the track, he could be found on Lake Champlain fishing. He enjoyed gambling, going to the casino or playing horseshoes and darts. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, big heart, and loyalty to his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Edmund Provost, Jr. and Gary Provost Sr., his brother-in-law, Donald Burdo, and his niece, Kelly McKee. Neal is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah Provost, his son; Neal Provost Jr. and his companion Tina Brodi and her children, Jeffery St. John and his companion Chelsey King, and Krissy St. John and her companion Zachary Robare, and their daughter, Arrietty Robare, his siblings; Joan Burdo, Debbie and Vernon McKee all of Plattsburgh, his mother-in-law, Catherine Baker, his in-laws, Pamela Wade and her husband Orlan, Robert Baker and his wife Sheila, Jeff Baker, Wendy Provost, his best friend, "Junior" Trim and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 25, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
