Noel "Smitty" C. Smith

Noel "Smitty" C. Smith, 78, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. He was born on August 17th, 1947, the son of Ernest A. Smith and Lea F. (Davis) Smith.

Smitty served as a Major in the US Air Force, retiring in 1990.

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie White and her husband, Barry White; sister, Nancy Hoover and 2 nephews and one niece.

He is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Terri Smith.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Smitty was well known and loved by many in the Plattsburgh community. His witty sense of humor and kind heart will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved him
