Patricia A. Anderson

Patricia (Stevens) Anderson was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 28, 1935, the daughter of D. Paul Stevens and Claracie (Smith) Stevens.

She graduated from St. John's Academy in 1951 and from Plattsburgh State Teachers College in 1955 with a bachelor's Degree in Home Economics in Newbugh, NY
to become certified in Elementary Education, and furthered her studies at Syracuse University to become certified in Special Education.

Patricia married Thomas A. "Hunk" Anderson on August 20, 1955 at Saint John's Church in Plattsburgh, NY. They Had three children - sons; Steven, Daniel and John.

Her first teaching job was a Saint Joachim's Catholic School in Beacon, NY a class of 44 fourth - graders. She then taught girl's High School Physical Education at Beacon
High School in Beacon, NY for three years. Patty then taught 3rd grade at the Gayhead School in the Wappingers Falls, NY school district. Her next teaching job was at
Saranac Central School in Saranac, NY teaching High School Special Education, until she retired in 1990.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, D. Paul Stevens and Claracie (Smith) Stevens, her brother Paul Stevens, her husband, Thomas in 2014 and her eldest son, Steven in 2017 and
Daughter in-law Susan Anderson in 1993.

She is survived by two sons; Daniel (his companion Scott Waters) of Schuyler Falls, NY. John T. Anderson (and his wife Kelly (Matott) Anderson) of Watertown, NY and Daughter in-law
Shanna Anderson of Charleston, SC. Grandchildren; Ashley Legault (and her husband Jason) of Delson, Quebec. Paul Anderson (and his wife Kylie) of New Jersey. Kristen Anderson of Boston, MA and Jesse Anderson (and his wife Lauren) of Phoenix, NY. Kodie (Anderson) Sharlow (and her husband Joseph) of Dexter, NY and Joey Anderson of New York, NY.
Great-grandchildren include Colyn, Trynity Mackenzye of Delson, Quebec, Landen and Halle Anderson of New Jersey and Levi and Evelyn Sharlow of Dexter, NY, Wesley, Elliott, and Penelope Anderson of Phoenix, NY.
