Patricia Boland

Plattsburgh Mrs. Patricia Boland, 73, better known as "Punk", formerly of Dubuque Way in Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at the Lakeland Regional Hospital, Lakeland, FL. She was born in Lyon Mountain on March 26, 1944 the daughter of Clifton and Frances (Pliscofsky) Benware. Punk worked at ARPAK and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lyle, her brothers; Clifton "Magee" Benware and Anthony "Herb" Benware. Punk is survived by a son Robert Gillette of Florida and a daughter Anita (Gillette) and her husband Roy of Plattsburgh, two brothers; Alex (Joanne) Benware, David (Doreen) Benware all of Lyon Mountain, a sister Nancy (Pete) Palmer of Pavillion, NY, a grandson Kevin Dubuque of West Chazy, two sisters-in-law; Donna Benware of Glens Falls, Mary Benware of Lyon Mountain and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with "Punk's" wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Lyon Mountain at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, N.Y. (518)561-3980.
