Patricia Ann Skelton

Plattsburgh - Patricia Skelton, 91, passed away on October 10th, 2025 after a long battle with an illness, at The Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, N.Y..    She was born in Ausable, N.Y. On My 15, 1934 to Emmit and Marion Miller.

She Graduated from Ausable High School. She was a member of the American Legion. She moved to Wingdale, N.Y. where she married Claude Skelton. She worked at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center for almost 30 years. She was very proud of her service there.

She has a son Larry Skelton, and a grandson, Jason Skelton. Later divorced and met the love of her life, Glenn Clausen. They loved to travel together, volunteer at the Ironman Triathalon, go to casinos together, and just have fun. They were best friends and truly loved each other. Now they can be together in heaven.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents Emmit and Marion Miller, her siblings Robert Miller, Janice Miller-Lahart, and Helen Miller-Harris.My girlfriend Terry Delaney, opened her house to her and for 2 & ½ years, took care of her and enabled her to enjoy life the best she could. Mom considered Terry her 'adopted daughter', adding years to her life.

Patricia is survived by her siblings Mary Milller, Gerald "lefty" Miller, Charles Miller, and Susan Miller-Kusalonis. She had many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews whom she loved all dearly. She loved to volunteer and help whenever and wherever she could, never asking for anything in return. She will be missed dearly.

Grave Side Services will be held Wednesday, July 15th at 11a.m. at the Holy Name Cemetery on Silver Lake Road in Ausable, N.Y..

Family and Friends are welcome to attend. Arrangements will be made by Brown Funeral Home.
