She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Randy and Tina Stromback, of West Chazy; daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Ron Arellano, of California; son-in-law Mike Ahrens, of Morrisonville; son Cory Stromback, of West Chazy; her grandchildren Eric Brandstrom Arellano and wife Emanuelle; Kyle Stromback, and Craig Stromback; great grandchildren Miles, Sam, and Oliver. As well as her siblings Marjorie (Ronnie) Poupore, Linda (Donald) Parrott, and Bobby (Penny) Manor, brother-in-law Rodney Sterling; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded by her parents, her husband Elton Stromback, and daughter Carla Ahrens, daughter-in-law Bonnie Stromback, as well as her siblings Russell Manor, Joyce Cahill, Shirley Brothers, Roger Manor, Arlene Sterling, Danny Manor, and Caroline Manor.

She lived her whole life in West Chazy/(Chazy). The early years, working the family farm, helping to raise her siblings, cooking and cleaning to help her mom. She attended Chazy School. Patricia was a hard worker who also liked to play little pranks and was lovingly named by her family, “Tricker”. in her teens, she would work the farm and when old enough, went to work at her first job, “Larios Bros” (now Pizza Bonos). It was a popular ice cream parlor with her sister Joyce, at 59 Margaret Street Plattsburgh. She would work the farm and then go to work. While working at Lario’s, then one day in walked the love of her life, a tall and very handsome, Airman, Second Class Elton Stromback of, Mora Minnesota. He asked her to marry him, two weeks after they met. They were married the following year; May 17th, 1958 for 60 years and lived on Clark Street. Farmland purchased from her parents. That is where she raised her family. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed family gatherings and had a very loving heart.

Paticia’s hobbies were cooking, sewing, knitting, crafting, putting together puzzles. Many of these “gifts” would become her work passion outside the home doing. Wherever, she went she had a smile, an innocent, natural sense of humor, or twinkle in her eye that would make people laugh or smile. The twinkle and laugh that make you wonder what she was thinking…thus “Tricker”

An accomplished, self-taught, seamstress Patricia turned her skill and hobby, into a craft business. She loved dolls, so she made beautiful Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, and people would come from all over looking for her, and her dolls to purchase at craft fairs.

Cooking was another passion of hers. Helping her daughter, Carla with a restaurant, in Chazy. Patricia worked at the Dairy Shoppe in Beekmantown for over 25 years with her sister, Marge Poupore, and other family members.

Her jobs were usually working with a sibling or family member. Patricia also worked with her sister, Shirley Brothers and Marty’s Carpets (Plattsburgh).

In her later years, Patricia spent many early mornings, working in her beautiful flower gardens.

Patricia had a gift of inspiring and motivating those around her. She will be greatly missed by all family, friends, and those who have met her along her journey.

A family and close friends Celebration of Life will be held at her family home in West Chazy, NY. In July.

Patricia and Elton will be buried in West Chazy Cemetery near family at later time to be determined. Burial arrangement will be entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
