Patricia A Wood

Patricia A. Wood, 79, of Plattsburgh passed away, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Mooers, NY on May 24, 1938, the daughter of Peter and Dorothy (Boulerice) Gonyo. She married Stanley Wood, August 8, 1964 at St. Joseph's Church in Mooers, NY. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John's Church in Plattsburgh. She retired from SUNY Plattsburgh, working for over 39 years. Patricia's greatest love was to attend her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Charles, Earl, Arnold and Harry Gonyo, Irene Bushey, and Margaret Monette. She is survived by her husband, Stanley, thier children; John Wood and his wife Jamie, and their children, Jacob, Jared, Jordan, of Marietta, NY, Judy Lavigne and her husband Peter, and their children Ashley, Nicholas, Samantha, and Jennifer, of Chazy, Jeff Wood of Plattsburgh, Janet Hankins and her husband Benjamin, and their children Nathan and Elizabeth, of Morrisonville, her brother, Gerald Gonyo, and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Gonyo, Bonnie Gonyo, of Mooers and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11:00am in St. John's Church, Plattsburgh. Interment will be at Divine Mercy Cemetery.
