Patti L Goldfarb

Altona, NY Patti L. Goldfarb, 72, of the Boulerice Road Altona, NY, passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2016 with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Cohoes, NY on October 6, 1943 the daughter of Roland and Mary (Stickney) Blondo. Patti worked at Beach Medical in Plattsburgh for many years. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, antiques, crocheting and knitting. Patti loved her cats, especially her Himalayan, "Tony from Altona." She will be fondly remembered for her family picnic the last Saturday in July for the past twenty years. She was a member of Holy Angels Church in Altona where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and choir member. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Hewitt, her father John "Jack" Hewitt and a brother John Hewitt. Patti is survived by her husband of twenty five years Steve Goldfarb, her children; Michelle Fortin and her husband Eric of Morrisonville, Dan Prenoveau and his wife Rose of Buffalo, Jeffrey Prenoveau of Plattsburgh, Steven Prenoveau and his wife Sarah of Rouses Point, her step daughters; Kimberly Lashway and her husband Dean of Altona and Kelly LaFountain and her husband Mickey of West Chazy, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her siblings; Jody Sewell and her husband Kevin of Kane, PA, Ann Hewitt and her husband Stan Manell of Bloomingdale, Richard Hewitt and his wife Brenda of Saranac Lake and William Hewitt of Vermontville, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday January 29, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:45 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 pm at Holy Angels Church in Altona. Burial will be at St. Louis of France Cemetery in Sciota at a later date. Donations in Patti's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country or the Elmore SPCA.
