Paul E. McCoy, 80, of Route 9 in New Russia, passed away on December 31, 2022 at Elizabethtown Community Hospital with family by his side. He was born at Schroon Lake on March 20, 1942, the son of the late Lester and Mary (Reynolds) McCoy.

Paul was employed for many years at Elizabethtown Builders and enjoyed working around the house.

He is survived by his children; Peter and Penny McCoy of Plattsburgh, Paula McCoy of Plattsburgh, Judy Kingsley of Lewis, Tammy Hayes Seekford of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Matty McCoy of Schenectady, Cherilyn McCoy of Moriah, his siblings and their spouses; Curtis and Ann McCoy of Schroon Lake, Bernard McCoy of New Russia, Leslie and Margaret McCoy of Lincoln Pond, Lena Seeley of Schroon Lake, his grandchildren: Andrew Conway of Texas, Billy Conway of New York, Joshua McCoy of Keene, Derrick McCoy of Willsboro, Kristina Williams of Lewis and Allie Williams of Olmsteadville, Zane Bechard of Ticonderoga, Damon Coonrod of Moriah, Zack, Christian and Kacey Seekford of Virginia, his great grandchildren; Layla Conway, William Conway, Trenton Conway, Blake McCoy, Piper and Gabriella McCoy, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Dawn M. McCoy, two sons Todd P. McCoy and Paul T. McCoy, and his siblings Elton, Richard, Glenn, Rita Pecore, Elizabeth Venner and Lester McCoy.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Lewis Congregational Cemetery.
