Pauline H. Rabideau, 80, of Mooers Forks, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Altona, NY on August 13th, 1944, the daughter of Donald and Leona (Macy) Jarvis.
Alongside her late husband, Carlton, Pauline built a life rooted in love, determination and hard work. Together they raised their children on the family farm, where Pauline was not only a steadfast partner in the day-to-day work but also the heart and soul of their home.
Pauline had many passions that brought her joy. She was an avid gardener and softball player. She took pride in building her coin collection, not only for herself but for each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pauline loved the outdoors as both a hunter and a fisherman. But above all her greatest joy came from the time spent with her family who will forever cherish her strength.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Carlton John Rabideau, her parents Donald and Leona (Macy) Jarvis, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
Pauline is survived by her beloved dog Sprout, her four children; Carleen (Edward) Meseck, Donna (Jeff) Charland, John (Wanda) Rabideau and Carlton (Jessica) Rabideau II. Her grandchildren; Peter, Amanda (Jeremy) and Justin (Meg) Sorrell, Karlie (Jared) Fouke, Isaac, Aaron and Ty Meseck, John and Nisa (Izacco) Rabideau, Paige (Conor) Driscoll, Jeffrey (Amiee) Charland, James (Kassandra) Charland, Eric Charland, Garrett (Ashley) Gero, as well as 9 great-grandchildren, four sisters and a brother.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Ellenburg Depot Mausoleum, formerly known as Whispering Maples.
