Robert E "Bob" Broadwell

Robert E. “Bob” Broadwell passed away on Friday December 31, 2021at CVPH Medical Center after a long illness.

Robert was the youngest of three children born on March 6, 1938 to the late Keith S. Broadwell Sr. and Norma H. Robbins Broadwell in Plattsburgh. He attended school in Saranac, Dannemora, and Plattsburgh. After graduation, he served four years in the Air Force. He worked for many years as the chief engineer at WIRY, WEAV, and WGFB radio stations.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Hicks Broadwell, daughter, Jeannine Broadwell, and grandchildren Michael Broadwell, Robert Broadwell, Kathleen Broadwell, and Luke Broadwell. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his son, Kyle R. Broadwell, his sister Diana Broadwell Caster, and his brother Keith S. “Bud” Broadwell Jr.

Burial will be later in the spring at the Broadwell Cemetery on Mason Street in Morrisonville with full military honors.
