Robert A "Bob" Degray

Mr. Robert Alfred "Bob" DeGray, 75, of Maryland Road, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Friday March 11, 2016 at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on January 21, 1941 the son of Robert Alvin and Genevieve (Barbara) DeGray. Bob graduated from Plattsburgh High School Class of 1960 and served in the U. S. Navy as a photographer 1960-1963. He graduated from the Area Trade @ Technical Center in June 1966. He obtained an A. A. Degree from Germains School of Photography, February 1974. His major was Photographic Technology. Bob was a member of the Professional Photographers Society of New York, Inc. and St. Peter's Church. Bob is predeceased by his parents Robert and Genevieve (Baraba) DeGray, his stepmother Katherine DeGray, a brother Stuart DeGray, a sister Shelby (DeGray) Dumas and his brother-in-law Floyd Dumas. He is survived by his wife of forty four years Virginia Ann (Ducharme) DeGray of Plattsburgh, his brothers James DeGray of Denton, Kansas, David DeGray and his wife Betty of Clearwater, FL, his sister Audrey Boos and her husband Robert of Denton, KS, three sisters-in-law Sister Bernadette Ducharme of Plattsburgh, Rose Ducharme of West Chazy, Eleanor Ducharme of Stewartsown, PA, several nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery.
