Robert F Lepage

Robert F. LePage, 96, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Hull, MA on January 4, 1926, the son of Frank and Eva (Baker) LePage.

Bob served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married Pearl Rabideau on July 30, 1944 at St. john's Church in Plattsburgh. After being honorably discharged he returned Plattsburgh where he began working at Pal Blade and later the Foundry in Plattsburgh. Bob then worked for 25 years at Montgomery Wards as a mechanic. He worked at Plattsburgh Air Force Base as a civilian in the Transportation and Air Refueling Squadrons, retiring in 1988. Not retired for long, he began working as a court attendant for 29 years with the New York State Unified Court System at the Clinton County Court House. Bob was a member of St. Alexander's Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 6067, the VFW Post 125 and the American Legion Post 1619.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law; Sandra LePage-Bonnier and her husband Maurice of Peru, a brother James LePage, his sisters; Judith and Reinaldo Lizardi, Joan Bishop, Carol Dow, Claudette Aubin, Donna and Wayne LaBonte, his sisters-in-law; Doris LePage and MarieAnne Rabideau and numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren also survive him.

He was predeceased by his parents; Frank and Eva LePage, his wife Pearl, several siblings and their spouses as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Anna Mae and William LePage, Jack and Virginia LePage, June and Ralph Senecal, George Bishop, Ronald Dow, William Aubin, Susan and Earl Smith, Gail LePage and Floyd Rabideau.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. The Knights of Columbus Councils 6067 and 7248 are invited to say the rosary at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. Interment will be in the St. Peter’s cemetery at a later date.
