A Life Well Lived and Fondly Remembered

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Robert J. Madine, who departed this life on November 8, 2025,

at the age of 83 with his friends and family by his side. he was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 12, 1942, the son of the late Robert and Amelia (Stocks) Madine.

Robert spent many years volunteering as a firefighter and E.M.T when he wasn't at work for William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA.

When Robert wasn't at work or volunteering, he enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Wrestling as well as traveling and spending

summers in Plattsburgh, NY where he retired in 2004.

Robert is survived by his daughter Margaret (Madine) Young and her husband Donald, brothers; James Madine and wife Cindy,

Michael Madine and wife Gloria. Daughter in law Shelly Madine. Grandchildren; Donald, Jacob, Sean, Braiden, Aubrey, Karley and great granddaughter Amara, as well as nieces; Kelly, Samantha, Katie and nephew James.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife Judith (Mangum), daughter Thresa (Madine) Bittner and

her husband Peter, son Robert L. Madine.

There are no viewing or services as per Roberts wishes. Margaret and her family will be celebrating his life with

Thanksgiving dinner and welcome family and friends at their table.
