Robert Howard "Rob" Rennell

Peru Robert Howard "Rob" Rennell, 62, of Korn Drive, Peru, NY passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May, 7, 1953 in Plattsburgh, NY the son of Robert Henry and the late Ruth (MacDougal) Rennell. He graduated from Ausable Valley Central School. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Navy. He later owned and operated A-One Oil. Rob was an avid woodworker, creating several pieces of art. In his spare time, he could be found pushing speeds on Lake Champlain on his boat or riding his Harley Davidson. Rob had a big heart for all animals, especially his four dogs, nine cats, and his bird. His greatest love was spending time with his wife and family. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cindy Rennell, his father, Robert Henry Rennell and his wife Mary, his sister Nancy Rennell, his stepchildren; Lynn Domino, Scott Domino, Melissa Goodman, Ann Gilbert, Daniel Casey and Joseph Casey, his grandchildren; James, Adam and Morgan, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rob's memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA, 556 Telegraph Rd, Peru, NY 12972. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
