Robin C Kellaway

Robin C. Kellaway, 65, of Dannemora, New York, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024. Born on November 29, 1958, in Plattsburgh, New York, Robin lived a life defined by love, resilience, and devotion to her family.

Robin found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved dancing, music, and singing, often filling her home with warmth and laughter. She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in nurturing her plants. Her beloved pet birds, Dartagnan and Bubbie, brought her constant companionship and happiness.

Robin proudly served her country in the United States Army from 1977 to 1981. Following her military service, she worked at Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Above all else, Robin cherished her family. She is survived by her loving husband of over twenty years, Robert Kellaway; her children, Stacy, Vanessa, Maude, Barbara, and Casandra; her five grandchildren, Elisa, Lexi, Ebyn, Wreiley, and Chase; and her great-granddaughter, Avery. She is also survived by her mother, Carolyn Sylvester; her siblings, Penny, Patty, Carla, Ricky, and Stacey; as well as several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Robin was predeceased by her brother, Carl.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dannemora. A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the love she shared with so many.
