Roy L Wood

Roy L. Wood, 54, of Clinton Street, Redford, NY, passed away on Friday December 23, 2022. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 1, 1968 the son of Joseph and Helen Wood.

Roy graduated from Saranac Central School in 1986. He worked for the Clinton County ARC and later CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, retiring in 2020.

Roy enjoyed collecting sports cards, guns and knives, and playing fantasy Football. Roy also enjoyed watch high school wrestling.

He was predeceased by his father, his son Nathan Wood, his father-in-law Francis Miller, step-father Wayne Girard and his grandparents, Ernest and Ester Miller.

Roy is survived by his wife Tammy, his mother Helen, three children; Courtney Wood and her companion Travis McDougal, Jr., Brandon Wood and his companion Naomi Holmes and Kayla Wood, five grandchildren; Daniel, Leah, Alyvia, Rayna and Bailey, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Kevin and Dorothy Allen.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
