Sally Pendleton, 79, passed away on April 10, 2021, at the Gulfside Hospice in Zepherhills, Florida where Sally, spent the winter months with her husband, Richard.
Sally graduated from Keuka College with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Sally worked for the Clinton County of Department of Social Services as a caseworker for over 20 years. Sally, was an active member, and a Deacon, at the First Presbyterian Church in Plattsburgh. Sally enjoyed giving back to the community and did this through her years of volunteer work at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in the surgical waiting area, and in the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center, and she enjoyed helping seniors through the RSVP bill pay program.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jane Froelich, her brother James Froelich, and sister, Betsy Hill. Sally is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard Pendleton, her daughter, Lisa Pendleton Corral, her daughter Chelsea Corral, and Lisa’s partner, Greg Polhemus, her son, Richard “Paul” Pendleton and his wife, Samia Pendleton and their children, Saeed and Mayassa, and nephew William Hill, his wife Lisa Hill, and nieces Sarah Hill, and Christa Hill.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday, May 21 , 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, or a charity of their choice.
