Sheila M. Badger, 70, of Champlain, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 1st, 1955, the daughter of Loyal Badger Sr. and Hilda (Relation) Badger.
Sheila loved to knit, crochet, watch Nascar but what she loved most was spending time with her family. She worked for the social security administration for 20 years she left in 1995 to take care of her first grandchild Kaitlyn. She went to work at cvph in 2005 as a CNA then went to work in medical records where she retired in 2019.
She is survived by her children, Mandy Jolicoeur and husband Michael, Richard Morrison and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thomas and husband Jesse, Matthew Jolicoeur and wife Rachael, Richard Morrison, Alexis Morrison; great grandchild, Maya Jolicoeur and a future great granddaughter due in December; sister-in-law, Mary Badger; nieces Anna Palardy, Angie Robinson and nephew Andrew Badger along with many cousins.
She is predeceased by her parents, Loyal and Hilda Badger, and brother Loyal "Bubba" Badger
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made out to The Foundation of CVPH .
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at CVPH for the amazing care, support and love they showed Sheila and her family.
