Sheldin I. Deso, 30, of Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, the UVM CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. Sheldin although young, sported a wizard length beard for a reason; he was wise beyond his years and had an amazing ability of just stepping back and looking at the hustle and bustle of activities a busy day can bring. He could find the importance of what the day was all about and enjoy it to the fullest. Things like pulling his niece Jasper in the wagon, playing ball with his niece Ariel, sitting with his family at the end of the day for TV and small talk and looking forward to family get-togethers. Sheldin recently passed the exam for NYS Corrections and was excited about pursuing this as a career. He worked for Justin's Landscaping as a landscaper and as a driver and mechanic for Ashley's Dairy Farm. Sheldin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. He was an accomplished equestrian rider and still enjoyed caring for his horse Kei. He also loved his feline companion, Mitzi, who followed him everywhere. Sheldin was an avid Boston Bruins and Red Sox fan. He would always be wearing his Bruins Cap and exchanging "trash talk" with his Canadien and Yankee fan relatives. Sheldin will always be loved and sadly missed by his mother, Tracy Simmons, and stepfather, Alan Simmons of Morrisonville, his father, Wayne Deso of Champlain, his brother Justin Deso and his companion Roxann Baker of Altona, brother Alan Simmons and his wife Briana of Myrtle Beach, SC, stepbrothers; Dustin Simmons of Cariboo, ME, and Troy Simmons and his wife Alison of Raleigh, NC, grandmothers, Mary Sharpe of Greenfield Park, PQ Canada, and Janine Leclerc of Mansonville PQ, Canada. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother Mary Deso and grandfathers Ian Harding and Hoover Deso. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 (518)-561-3980.
