Shelia M Lapierre

Shelia M. LaPierre of Altona, NY, the daughter of Harrison and Elizabeth LaPierre formally of West Chazy, NY was born November 7, 1945; she was one of twelve children. She is the widow of James H. LaPierre formally of West Chazy.
She has been predeceased and reunited with her parents, one sister, Marjorie Olsen and four brothers, Donald, Morris, Lawrence and Roswell LaPierre in heaven on February 27, 2019.
She1ia is survived by two sisters, Gloria Winterbottom and Linda Couture as well as four brothers, Richard LaPierre and wife Georgia, Robert LaPierre wife Pat, Arnold LaPierre wife Carol, and Loyal LaPierre wife Julie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Shelia graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 1965. Shelia had a successful career of thirty three and half years in the nutritional services department of Champlain Valley Hospital until her retirement in 2007.
Shelia was a kind hearted individual willing to help anyone in need. She also had a great sense of humor and probably still does. She enjoyed nature walks, cross word puzzles and many other types of puzzle games. She also enjoyed the quiet life and the simple things life had to offer.
Shelia wants to thank everyone at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center and North Country Hospice for their support and help. There will be no calling hours and no viewing according to her wishes. Shelia’s last request is if you donate on her behalf do so to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center, but please spell her name correctly. SHELIA (again her sense of humor, everyone spelled her name wrong.)
