Theresa B "Tess" Mccall

Mrs. Theresa B. "Tess" McCall, 96, of Pine Harbour and formerly of Mallard Drive, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at her home with family by her side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in County Waterford, Ireland on February 15, 1919, the daughter of the late James and Nellie (Dee) Carey. Tess was the Head Clerk at the Syosset Public Library for many years .She was a devout Catholic, and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills. She is survived by her children; William McCall of Plattsburgh, Theresa Oberg of Groton, Ct., Kenneth McCall of Bremerton, Wa., and several other family members. She was predeceased by her husband William John McCall and two sisters Catherine and Marie. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm at 4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Additional calling hours will be held at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, N.Y. Interment will be in Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y. Please pray for the repose of her soul.
