Plattsburgh, Cadyville and Altona (518) 561-3980 or FAX (518) 563-4843 MORRISONVILLE - Theresa "Tessie" Mae (Relation) Rabideau, 83, of Rand Hill Road, died Friday, December 3, 2010, in her home. Born in Altona, NY on May 6, 1927, Theresa was the fifth of seven children, daughter of Willis and Margaret (Favreau) Relation. Theresa graduated from Peru High School in June of 1944. She was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Theresa's greatest joys were her family, gardening, home keeping, reading, knitting, bowling, dancing, listening to music and doing jigsaw and various other puzzles. In later years, in addition to her family, she especially enjoyed attending Danny O'Donnell concerts and watching Dancing With The Stars. Theresa was predeceased by her six siblings and husband of fifty-one years, Lawrence (Larry) Henry Rabideau. They were married in St. John's Church, Plattsburgh, on November 15, 1947. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Susan Rabideau of Plattsburgh, Lawrence and Sheila Rabideau of Burnt Hills and David Rabideau of Litchfield, New Hampshire; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jack Myers of Saranac; two sisters in law, Jeanette Reeves of Plattsburgh and Mary Jane Rabideau, of Rochester; a brother-in-law, Bert Smith of Owls Head; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were very near and dear to her, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 A.M. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lawrence Rabideau Scholarship Fund in care of Richard Rabideau, 23 Lynde Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
