In Loving Memory of Wendy Michelle Sampsell

Wendy Michelle Sampsell, 61, of Plattsburgh, New York, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, surrounded by family and friends at UVM Hospital.

Wendy had a heart big enough for everyone. She had a gift for making people smile, loved spending time with friends, and could always be found dancing whenever she had the chance. She found great joy in serving her community through Meals on Wheels and looked forward to every holiday spent surrounded by her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her longtime partner, Carlton Renaudette; her stepchildren, Jody and Mike; her children, Harry and Harley; her brothers, Harry, Eric, Tommy, and Rusty; several cherished grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Wendy’s kindness, laughter, and unconditional love touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are invited to contact the family for additional information.

Though she is no longer with us, Wendy’s joyful spirit, generous heart, and love for her family will continue to shine in the lives of those she leaves behind.
