William J "Bill" Dahler

Morrisonville William J. "Bill" Dahler, 82, of Morrisonville, NY passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at his home. He was born in Ridgway, PA on December 29, 1934 the son of George and Lillian (Amacher) Dahler. Bill was an airplane mechanic in the United States Airforce, later with Mohawk Airlines and retiring from US Airways; flying was everything to him. He loved to travel all over the country, flying his own plane. In his free time, he could be found in his hangar, tinkering on his plane and tractor or the planes of his friends. He loved going to lunch with his buddies. He is predeceased by his first wife, Jeannine Labrecque Dahler. Bill is survived by his wife Debra, his children; Chantale Hagar and her husband Ben, of Virgina, Michelle Dahler Humes and her husband Mike, of Pennsylvania, Aaron Hardy and his wife Josie of Massena, and Sarah Hardy, of Plattsburgh, his five grandchildren; Greg, Colden, Austin, Ocean, and Cayman, his sisters; Jean Andrus and Joyce Olson, several nieces, a nephew and many cousins.
