Warren J. Bennett

Licensed Funeral Director

Warren is the President of the funeral home and has over 40 years experience working in funeral service. Warren is a first generation funeral director, and began working at Brown Funeral Home in 1980. He started at Brown Funeral Home as an employee and worked to become the owner of the funeral home.

Warren was born the last of eight children to Melvin E. and Ethleyn M. Bennett, Sr. and grew up in West Chazy, New York. He is a graduate of Beekmantown Central School Class of 1977 and Hudson Valley Community College, Troy New York where he graduated with A.A.S. in Mortuary Science with the class of 1979. Warren married his middle-school sweetheart, Kathy. They have two sons; Ryan P. Bennett and Michael S. Bennett who followed in their father's footsteps.  

Being community minded, Warren has served his community as a former board member for the Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce, former Charter President of the Plattsburgh Youth Bowling Association and Plattsburgh Men's Bowling Association a member of the Peru Lions Club and was a Charter Member of the Beekmantown Lions Club, a member of the Sunshine Rotary Club and a member of the local BNI chapter. He has been a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elk's Plattsburgh Lodge #621 since 1981 and a member of St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, New York. 

Warren currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Clinton County Nursing Home and Riverside Cemetery Association.

In his free time enjoys bowling, golf, and traveling to warmer destinations.

Ryan P. Bennett

Licensed Funeral Director

Ryan was born in Plattsburgh and raised around the funeral home, helping when he could in his early years.

He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2005 and from the State University of New York at Canton with an A.A.S in Mortuary Science in 2007, starting his residency shortly after. Ryan became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2008, working along side his family. In 2008, Ryan started Adirondack Memorials, further helping families by memorializing their loved ones.  He and his brother started our crematory, Mountain View Crematory in October 2013, and our Pet Cremation Service in October 2019 helping all members of the family.

He is a member of the Plattsburgh Elks Lodge, Knight of Columbus, Council 255, St. Peter's Church, Son of the American Legion Post 1619, Plattsburgh Noon Kiwanis Club,  Board Member for the Foundation of CVPH Medical Center and consults for many cemetery boards.

Ryan enjoys traveling with his wife Abby, their daughter, Meredith, and spending time at camp on Chateaugay Lake.

Micheal S. Bennett

Licensed Funeral Director

Michael is the second son of Warren and Kathy Bennett and a second generation Licensed Funeral Director. Michael was born and raised in Plattsburgh, graduating from Plattsburgh High School in 2009 and continued his education at Hudson Valley Community College, graduating in May of 2011 with an A.A.S. in Mortuary Science.

Michael completed his residency and has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 2012. 

He and his brother expanded the services of Brown Funeral Home when they started our crematory, Mountain View Crematory in October 2013, and our Pet Cremation Service in October 2019.

Michael is a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, a member of the Sons of American Legion #1619, Plattsburgh Elks Club, and Knights of Columbus.

In his free time, he often can be found outdoors; golfing, playing soccer, enjoying Lake Champlain, or spending time with his wife, Nikki, their sons, Jack and Kylian, and the family golden-doodle, Porter.

John Drumm

Funeral Assistant

John is a Plattsburgh native, graduating from Plattsburgh High School in 1987.    

John served in the Army from 1988 to 1992 as a member of the military police, and worked in combat during Operation Desert Storm. Following his time in the Army he was a police officer for the City of Plattsburgh for over 20 years until his retirement in 2017.  

In his free time John can be found practicing as a student pilot. He enjoys time with his wife Julie, their children Gregory and Lindsey, and his three cats. John also enjoys skiing, and shooting sports.
